Weekly Competitions

 

Points

Each player receives 5 points for completing 18 holes. Players also receive points based on how they finish against their flight. The point pool is determined by the size of the flight. Each event allocates 20 points per player in each flight's point pool. Players will also earn 1 point for each net birdie, and 2 points for each net eagle or better. Weekly point competitions use 95% of the player's handicap.

 

Purse

Tour Members compete within their flight for a share of the weekly purse. The size of the purse and number of places awarded is determined by the size of the flight. Purse competitions use 95% of the player's handicap.

 

Skins

Tour Members and guests compete for skins each week. A skin is awarded when one competitor scores better than the entire field on any single hole. The value of each skin is determined by the size of the field and the number of skins awarded. Players will also earn 5 points for each skin they receive. If a guest wins any skin, the member who invited the guest will receive the points and the purse. Skins competitions use 50% of the player's handicap. The maximum number of strokes allowed is 14, with no one getting a stroke on a par 3. 

 

Closest to the Pin

Tour members and guests will have 2 chances each week to win a closest to the pin competition. To win a closest to the pin, the player's ball must come to rest on the green and be closest to the hole over the entire field. A purse based on the size of the field will be awarded. Players will receive 5 points for winning a closest to the pin competition. If a guest wins any weekly CTP, the member who invited the guest will receive the points and the purse.

 

Longest Putt

Tour members and guests will have 2 chances each week to win a longest putt competition. To win a longest putt, the player's ball must be holed for gross par or better. A purse based on the size of the field will be awarded. Players will receive 5 points for winning a longest putt competition. If a guest wins any weekly Longest Putt, the member who invited the guest will receive the points and the purse.

 

 

Trophy Competitions

 

Team Events

Team events will be held at special times during the season. Teams will compete for a share of a purse. The purse size and places paid will be determined by the size of the field. Winners of each team event will be awarded trophies at the awards banquet. Team events are handicapped based on the event type.

 

Big Boo-Ya!

The Big Boo-Ya! is a multi-event competition. After each Tour Round is completed, one event at each golf course, the player's best 36 hole score in relation to par will compete against the field. Based on how they finish against the field, players will be awarded a share of a 1000 point pool and the top 10 finishers will be awarded a share of a purse. Each Tour Round's Big Boo-Ya! will receive a trophy at the awards banquet. Big Boo-Ya! competitions use 85% of the player's handicap.

 

Putting Champion

The Putting Champion is determined by who has won the most Longest Putt competitions over the season. In case of a tie, each player's total number of inches for holed putts will be calculated and the winner will be the player with the largest number of inches. The Putting Champion will receive a trophy at the awards banquet.

 

Ball Striking Champion

The Ball Striking Champion is determined by who has won the most Closest to the Pin competitions over the season. In case of a tie, each player's total number of inches for CTP will be calculated and the winner will be the player with the smallest number of inches. The Ball Striking Champion will receive a trophy at the awards banquet.

 

Player of the Year

Awarded to the Tour Member that collects the most points during the entire season. The Player of the Year and the runner up will receive trophies at the awards banquet.
